Couples planning the best day of their lives can gain inspiration and receive a helping hand at a wedding show at Newmarket’s lavish four-star Bedford Lodge Hotel & Spa.
Visitors can browse 50 stands at the event, sponsored by Bury St Edmunds jewellers Preston & Duckworth, within the hotel’s recently refurbished Classics Suite and a marquee.
The show offers an opportunity to see everything from cars to cakes, rings to dresses and much more at the luxurious country hotel on Sunday 20 September from 10.30am to 3.30pm.
Eloise Fuggle, weddings co-ordinator at Bedford Lodge Hotel & Spa, said: “It’s going to be great. I’m really looking forward to meeting couples who want to plan their wedding.
“They will be able to take away so many great ideas for their big day. Everyone is looking for something that little bit extra special and they are certain to find it at this event.”
The hotel is also offering an overnight stay including breakfast at Newmarket’s only four-star hotel in a prize draw.
Eloise added: “It really is a must-see event for couples, whether they are looking for a photographer, wedding venue or want to talk about the finer details like flowers, marquees and the all important cake.”
The 77-bed hotel, which went from four black AA stars to the prestigious four red AA stars almost a year ago, is situated just a short distance from the town’s famous paddocks and training stables. It is set in three acres of secluded rose gardens, and is a favourite for bridal parties as it is licensed for weddings.
